Future of GOP

What is the future of the Republican party?  How do we define ourselves?  There seems to be two different streams of philosophies that the Republican Party is following.  Their respective leaders were the Republican ticket for the 2008 presidential election.  John McCain and Sarah Palin were together but they are apart right now on some issues.  John McCain seems to be the type of Republican that wants to move more towards the center on issues and feels that is the way to grow the party.  Sarah Palin on the other hand is loved by Conservative Republicans because of the strong stand she takes on issues. The tea party protesters have caused a potential major problem for republicans in 2010 and 2012.  Conservatives are close to leaving the Republican Party for a third party.  We need to figure out how to become unified.  I'm going to highlight the differences between these two people over the next couple of posts. I will go on the record to say that I'm a Palin guy, and I think her way is the right way.

So Proud

I am so proud of Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe.  They are going to bring down a corrupt multi-million dollar organization.  Amazing!

Way to go CNN

CNN finally said something about the Acorn-Hannah Giles story. Way to go CNN! That is way to stay on top of stories and be the first to break important news. I guess they just figured out that Acorn may be just a little bit fishy ( dripping with sarcasm). Just waiting on MSNBC now.... but they are busy walking around like zombies holding on to the president's belt.  This may take a while!

Go Hannah

I spent this morning thinking about the healthcare debate and that speech last night. I have so many problems with the plan that it's hard to even start processing some of the crazy talk that we heard last night. I looked around a little more and saw a story that stole my attention. Here we have a 20 year old college student breaking down a multi-million dollar tax payer funded governement program called Acorn. This is an amazing story. Everyone by now knows the story...but do they? No one in the media picked up this story (besides Fox and conservative voices) which leads to another story. What is wrong with the media today? How did a 20 year old journalism student get a story that no one in the liberal media saw coming? Why are they not covering this story? There has to be something deeper going on and I hope investagative journalism will uncover all of this junk. I'm sick to my stomach thinking that my tax dollars are going to this organization. There should be an immediate investagtion by Congress. This is serious and not a joking matter. All tax payer money should stop flowing to this organization until Congress finished this investigation. Acorn has lost any credibility that it had and is now officially a joke. Thank you Hannah Giles for doing what journalism used to do. This is a bright spot for our future in an industry that has totally lost their way. I hope that this strory continues to progress and maybe one day it will cause a chill to run down Chris Matthew's leg.
